It is so nice to meet you. I am Chantelle, the photographer behind Mill and The Sea, based in Rockhampton, Queensland. I capture weddings and elopements across Central Queensland, including Rockhampton, Yeppoon, and other beautiful Capricorn Coast locations.

I am a mother of three girls and live in Rockhampton with my partner and soulmate, Hayden. Since meeting him, I have truly come to believe that you can fall in love with your soulmate and best friend. That belief inspires the way I photograph connection, love, and family.

My passion for photography began when I was about ten years old. I received my first film camera for Christmas and spent hours taking photos of the people I loved most. That curiosity quickly grew into a lifelong creative journey. I studied Film and Television, Drama, and Dance, which taught me how light, emotion, and movement can tell powerful stories.

After school, I worked in professional picture framing, learning how every small detail contributes to an image that feels timeless. I photographed my first wedding in 2010 and instantly knew I wanted to make this my career. Since then, I have captured countless weddings and portraits across Rockhampton, Central Queensland, and beyond.

With over 14 years of photography experience, I have learned that the best moments are the real ones. My work focuses on genuine emotion and natural interactions that reflect your story exactly as it happens. When you look back, I want you to feel every laugh, tear, and quiet moment that made your day unforgettable.
